0:00 Hey guys, so in this we're going to look at how to create killer carousels. Again, my focus is predominantly LinkedIn, but when I do post these I also post the carousels to Instagram as well, because Instagram also accepts the swipe. 0:16 And just to make sure you know, to upload a carousel to LinkedIn, you need it as a PDF. So you need to download as a, as a PDF standard there, and that's what allows you to upload the document to LinkedIn or Instagram, I'd say I'd do it through, through Publer, which is a, a scheduling and posting platform 0:40 , I use the free version. Anyway, either way, onto the, to the template. so pretty basic stuff make sure that you've got an attention-grabbing title. 0:52 I tend to make sure that the number is big because people love lists of stuff. Um, so you will see that the, the number and the text is different. 1:01 And then we've got a, we've got a highlight here as well. Um, that highlight just adds emphasis and it's just an element in, in the design. 1:11 So it's just a rounded rectangle. Um, with a color, yeah, that, that sits behind the text, uh, text. So that's, that's easy enough. 1:19 Um, and then we've got an image. Check out the other video on how to use AI to create on-brand images. 1:26 Uh, all of my images have got very similar prompts. So that's just an image that, that sits on the page there as well. 1:31 And then I've got a call to action on every page, which again is just a, another element box. Um, doesn't have a background, but you'll find that whenever you add a shape somewhere, you can add text. 1:44 So that's all that is. So that's, that's pretty easy to do as well. In terms of the pages themselves, um, make sure that each of the headings is clear and big, just so that people can easily skim through. 1:57 Um, my heading is a different font to my body. So, We're Inter for the heading and then Roboto for the body there. 2:05 And then what I'll do is I'll, I'll highlight as well. So slightly different to, to this little surround here. This is more of a highlight. 2:12 Yeah. So, um, just highlight, um, when you look at elements and then you can, you can generally change the color as well. 2:22 So that's easy enough to do to add emphasis there. So that's, that's how that's done. And then what I do as I go through pages is I just duplicate and then add the text. 2:32 Yeah. I try not to go past more than, um, 10, 10 pages. Down to the fact, if I am posting on Instagram, the maximum document site is 10 pages, including this, this page. 2:48 But if they're too long, then, you know, you, you don't get quite as much engagement. You want people to, to flick through and then get to the call to action at the end. 2:57 So I've got a bit of a TLDR, so too long, didn't read that. And then at the end, if my computer decides to work, I'll, I'll click there and why it's not, not, um, working, but I've got a PS page, um, that's, that's the main call to action there. 3:12 All right, so. We're easy enough to do the dimensions on LinkedIn are 15, uh, 1200 by 1500 pixels. So that's, that's my size. 3:20 Um, you can resize any image, uh, with the, with the pro version of Canva, I think, but if you're starting from scratch at 1200 by 1500 is what you want to do. 3:29 So yeah, good luck and speak to you soon.
