0:00 Hey guys, so this is going to be a walkthrough of how to create these influencer style quotes. It can be a little bit fiddly, but once you've got your template right, it's very easy just to copy. 0:16 So I post mostly on LinkedIn, but platforms like Instagram, Twitter, or all of them in fact, will allow portrait images. 0:24 So I'm people do square. So again, Instagram, like there's, there's more square images there, but either way, um, you can copy this. 0:32 So the, the best font to use is Roboto. Um, that's the Twitter font. Um, so it's, it's in line with my brand. 0:41 Now I've, I've deliberately made my brand so that it uses body text like Roboto. My header text is is inter, it's a complimentary font, but I don't use that header font for these type of quotes. 0:53 It's either Roboto in bold, um, or standard. Now to make this little panel at the top here, um, again, it's just two text. 1:03 Um, so that's, that's easy enough to do. I'm, I'm using Canva here obviously. Um, and then you've got a little tick here and then a circular image with your private. 1:12 File photo. So in the notion template, I've included this influencer tick. It was, it's a bit of a pain to find because ideally you want something transparent, especially if you're using the free version of Canva that doesn't have the background remover. 1:26 So, um, that's, that's in the notion. Um, and then the last bit is getting this little circular image here. So, um, I'll show you how to do this quickly. 1:36 If you go into elements, just get my loom buttons out of the way. There we go. Elements. And then if you go into frame, you'll see that you've got different shapes, so you can morph an image into any of these different types of shapes. 1:54 So the one to use here is the circle. I've then got, um, my profile image somewhere. Oh my goodness, I've got a lot in here. 2:05 Let's see how much I use Canva. I do have it downloaded, so I might as well just do that. So I'll just drag it from my downloads. 2:14 So downloads, profile white. Okay, so that's square at the moment. if I drag it into the frame you'll see that it then becomes circular and then I can add it to my, my little banner at the top there. 2:32 So super easy. Um, once you've done it once, that's it. And then what I do just so that I can move stuff around is I'll select everything and then I'll group. 2:41 Yeah. And then that all moves as one element now. Um, another design tip as well. You're seeing Canva when you move stuff around this little purple boxes highlighted. 2:51 It's good to stay within the boundaries of that purple box so that the content has a nice frame. It has enough white space around it to really stand out. 3:01 Um, it's not as good if you do this sort of stuff where you're, you know, you're, you're exceeding those boundaries, not the end of the world. 3:09 It's just best practice and tends to stand out a little bit more if you've got enough space. A nice amount of space around the image. 3:14 So yeah, there you go. Have fun.
